Hey Foodies!
Hope this week is going well for you! We had a great session on Tuesday and we were so happy to hear all of your unique insights on agriculture!

Waste: Where is the most waste coming from? Can we blame consumerism? Though some restaurants are fined for having more landfill than compost, the processed food and restaurant businesses are some of the biggest sources of waste!

One of our amazing peers, Charlie shared an exciting event this week, the Harvest Festival at the UC Gill Tract Community Farm. It will be this Sunday 9/20 from 11am to 6pm, at the Gill Tract Organic Farm, Marin Ave & San Pablo Ave, Albany, California 94706.
Join for a full day of live music, children's activities, workshops for beginning urban farmers, a communal feast, and lots of opportunities to dig your hands in the soil of your community farm! They also have various volunteer opportunities you can sign up for!
